Fanta Cake

4  eggs

400 g,  caster sugar

1 tsp,  vanilla extract

200 ml,  sunflower oil

200 ml,  orange fanta

400 g,  Plain flour

5 tsp,  Baking Powder

0.13 tsp,  salt

1  One Tub chocolate icing(for the filling)


  1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4 and line the baking tin with baking parchment.
  2. Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla extracts until it turns to firm batter. Then stir in the sunflower oil and gradually stir in the Fanta. Leave the batter for 30 minutes, it will fizz quite a bit.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually stir the mixture into the Fanta. Spread the mixture over the bottom of the prepared baking tin.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, reduce to 160 C / Gas 2 and bake for another 20 minutes.
  5. When cool, spread with chocolate icing, cut into small squares and serve.
