Ingredients:

4  satsumas or clementines

6  eggs

35 g,  granular Canderel

250 g,  ground almonds

1 tsp,  baking powder

50 g,  plain chocolate, roughly chopped

50 g,  white chocolate, roughly chopped

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
  2. Boil water in a large pan and cook the satsumas for 2 hours until softened.
  3. Drain it, cool it. Cut them into halves and remove the seeds, then mash to a pulp.
  4. Grease a 20cm cake tin.
  5. In a saucepan, beat the eggs, Canderel, almonds, baking powder and orange pulp.
  6. Pour into the tin and bake for 1 hour. Cool in the tin.
  7. Melt the chocolates in bowls over pans of simmering water.
  8. Pour the melted chocolates into separate piping bags and drizzle over the cake.
