Rye Biscuits

4 servings




40 g,  all-purpose flour

25 g,  rye flour

1 tbsp,  brown sugar

1 tsp,  baking powder

0.25 tsp,  caraway seeds

0.13 tsp,  salt

2 tbsp,  cold butter

1  eggs

1 tbsp,  half-and-half cream


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in egg and cream just until moistened.
  2. Drop batter into four mounds 2 in. apart on a baking sheet coated with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, immediately remove to a wire rack. Serve warm.
