1-2-3 Cherry Crisp

Ingredients:

595 g,  cherry pie filling

565 g,  tart cherries

0.25 tin,  juice from tart cherries (60ml)

2 tbsp,  lemon juice(30)

1.70 tin,  yellow cake mix

0.75 tin,  salt-free margarine or butter

Preparation:

  1. Mix pie filling, cherries and juices together. Pour into lightly oiled 12 x 7 1/2" (30 x 20 cm) baking pan.
  2. Sprinkle dry cake mix over cherry mixture.
  3. Divide margarine into 6 or 8 chunks and place on top of cake.
  4. Bake at 375° (190° C) for 1 hour or until browned. Serve warm, plain or with whipped non-dairy topping.
