The Mutton stew

700 g,  Breast of mutton, cut into small pieces

4  Onions

900 g,  Potatoes

500 ml,  water

0.50 tsp,  freshly ground black pepper

0.25 tsp,  salt


  1. In a large saucepan, arrange the meat and onions in layers, seasoning each layer. Then add water followed by the potatoes.
  2. Cover the saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer gently for one and a half hours and cook well until the mutton and potatoes are tender.
  3. Mix well the ingredients and top it with salt and pepper before serving.
