Chicken Liver Pâté

8 servings




15 g,  butter

1 medium,  clove garlic, chopped

1 tbsp,  onions, finely chopped

125 g,  chicken livers, trimmed and chopped

2 tbsp,  dry sherry

90 g,  cream cheese, softened

2 tsp,  freshly ground black pepper

1 tsp,  Salt


  1. Heat and melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add all the garlic, onion and chicken livers and then stir and simmer for 10 minutes under low heat.
  3. Place chicken liver mixture in a blender with dry sherry, cream cheese, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a medium bowl, cover and chill in the refrigerator approximately 2 hours before serving.
