Creamy Pork Chops

Originaly Yeild:

4 servings




900 g,  Potatoes, diced

125 g,  Onion, finely chopped

0.50  Finely grated zest of orange

1 tbsp,  chopped fresh sage

275 ml,  Chicken stock

0.25 tsp,  salt and pepper to taste

4  pork chopps

4 tsp,  whole grain mustard

4 tbsp,  Double Cream


  1. Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
  2. In a shallow baking dish, mix together the potatoes, onions, orange zest, sage, stock, salt and pepper and spread mixture.
  3. Arrange chops on top of the vegetables and cover with kitchen foil.
  4. Bake in oven for about 40 minutes then take from the oven and remove the chops, stir in the cream and mustard, replace the chops and put back in the oven uncovered for another 30 minutes, raising the oven temperature to 200 C / Gas 6.
