Swiss Tossed Salad

Originaly Yeild:

4 servings




50 g,  Bacon – 12, diced into strips

100 g,  Red leaf lettuce - 1 bunch torn

50 g,  Small red onion – 1, cut into long strips

50 g,  Swiss cheese - 1 block, cubed

25 g,  Ripe olives - 1/4 cup, sliced

10 ml,  Mayonnaise

10 ml,  Sour cream


  1. In a large sized pan, cook bacon until crisp, over medium heat.
  2. Remove to paper towels to drain.
  3. In a large sized bowl, mix lettuce, onion, cheese, olives and bacon.
  4. In another small sized bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream. Serve with the salad.
